Frequently Asked Questions :

1 / Are you Dog/Pet friendly?

We are and allow well behaved dogs and pets to stay.  Rabbit Pod is generally not animal friendly to allow guests with allergies to stay worry free.  All animalls are prohibited from going on the furniture (beds and sofas) and must be kept under control at all times.

2 / Can we book the whole site?

Yes of course - subject to availability.  Please contact us direct to discuss a full site discount and the possibility of a private bonfire or BBQ by the brook for your group.  We have buildings on site that can be made available for group catering / conferences etc.

3 / Can we arrive by public Transport?

The closest train stations are either Telford Central or Shrewsbury - both are about 10 miles from the site.  Hourly buses run between Bridgnoth and Shrewsbury with our closest stop being Cressage 1 mile away.  Where possible we will try to help with lifts but there are also taxis in the area if needs be.

4 / Do you have Wifi?

Yes - the wifi runs off fibre direct and privately to each accommodation unit

5 / Are Children Welcome?

Yes - we try to cater fully for children and they are very welcome; there are plenty of games and books on site, along with sports equiptment, swings and slides and eye spy and walk suggesions.  Please ask us about meeting the on site animals and where possible feeding and petting them.

6 / What is included in the price?

The Accommodation will be ready on your arrival with the beds made up and bath and hand towels provided.  All heating / hot water / wifi etc is included in the price.  We provide complimentary goods and every day essentials such as toilet rolls, hand soap, washing up liquid and sponge (dishwasher tablets if relevant), and tea towel.  Extras can be purchased in advance of your arrival to help the smooth running of your stay - please see special offers page for details

Please note we now include a £100 deposit in the cost of your stay.  If there is no damage this will be returned in full at the end of your stay.  Thank you for your understanding.

7 / What local Attractions can you recommend?

Its no surprise to us that Shropshire was named by ABTA this year as one of their top 10 destinations to watch out for ; the only UK location included in their list.  They describe Shropshire as a “rural gem” with “beautiful landscapes, towns and villages” and above all a wealth of attractions to see and do which will easily fill a full week.  Please look at our "Things to Do" page and also our handbook sent out once booked.

Directions: The entrance to the yard is in the centre of the village – if you have arrived from the direction of Cressage, you will travel over a small bridge, into Sheinton and past the Church on your left and find us on your right. From Much Wenlock the road drops down into Sheinton and as the road levels out we are on your left.

TESTIMONIALS

Cannot rate school farm holidays highly enough, excellent communication from Helen prior to our visit and a warm welcome when we arrived. Owl pod had all we could hope for and more, the attention to detail was second to none, all of the essentials were provided and it was spotless. The location was amazing, so peaceful yet not far from lots of amenities, the handbook provided so much information on the local area, wildlife and places to visit. And you get to come back and soak in the hot tub after a hard day's sightseeing or pop and see Billy and Boo the goats (Billy was a right character) and the gorgeous Mabel and Mildred the donkeys. We hope to stay again soon.

Sean Bishop.  July 2025

It's genuinely the perfect place to go for a break from life, the scenery is beautiful, the lodges are fantastic, you have a handbook inside the lodge itself giving you all the information you could possibly need about everything, the owners are also incredibly friendly and helpful in case you're in a spot of trouble, couldn't recommend this place enough, I'm not sure when but you can bet a lot of money that me and my partner will be returning at some point.

Goodwin Party July 2025

It was absolutely lovely and we throughly enjoyed our stay.

Beeston family, June 2025

The location is so peaceful - the lodges are thoughtfully set out so although there are other people nearby you don’t feel overlooked or crowded. The views are amazing and the pods themselves are equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing break in the countryside. Last but not least - the people who own/run the place are welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The Bosworth family July 2025

Beautiful area to stay, overlooking Shrewsbury, with rolling hillside. Helen is great, really responsive and helpful. Stay was lovely we all had a great time. Lodge is modern, spacious and homely. Hot tub is great, lovely and warm on arrival has a nice little bench/ covered area to sit too. Outdoor furniture on patio with fire pit. Easy check in and check out. We had a great time. Thanks Helen and Margaret.
